A standard session structure is as follows: initial intake assessment is 1 hour and 30 minutes; subsequent sessions are 50 minutes of therapy, with an additional 10 minutes allocated for treatment planning, clinical notes, and reporting to relevant stakeholders where appropriate.
Additional charges may apply for multidisciplinary meetings with other service providers and report writing. This is typically charged by the hour at the same rate as sessions.
National Disability Insurance Scheme

Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)
Helen Thomas Psychology is an accredited Medicare provider, allowing clients to access rebates for psychological services when referred by a General Practitioner (GP) under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
Clients can access up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. A standard session structure is as follows: 50 minutes of therapy, plus 10 minutes for treatment planning, clinical notes, and reporting back to the referring GP.
