About Us

My name is Helen,

I am from the UK originally, but I’ve spent the last 15 years living in the beautiful Lower Blue Mountains.

My professional journey began in London, where I worked as an HR Manager in fashion retail. I began my psychology journey when I came to Australia in 2011. I graduated with a 1st class honours degree from the University of New England, where I received the Chancellor's Award and published a research article in the International Journal of Orientation and Mobility.

After university, I had the privilege of working with Aboriginal-owned and operated health services in North Queensland, supporting children and adolescents in remote rural communities.

I also worked with Aboriginal youth at the North Queensland Cowboys Foundation, before spending five years in private practice in Penrith.

Most recently, I served as the Senior Clinician in the Primary Care Team at headspace Penrith, where I continue to work as a part-time Psychologist.

Outside of my professional life, I am married to Lawrence, a retired engineer, and am a proud mother to my daughter Josephine and grandmother to her daughter. When I am not working, I enjoy the precious moments spent caring for my granddaughter, spending time with my family, travelling, camping, boating, staying active at the gym, and practising yoga.
